The foundation of the design approach was looking at the existing brand pay-off line... to inspire the work Viz. Moving Forward
I wanted to blend the exisiting brand with the communications theme in a way that was a natural extension of what came before it.
Taking the existing relationships or rules and applying them to a new expression that belongs, with purpose.
This is one of my favourite examples of the potential of design systems. They make it possible to keep a large volume of communication consistent.

Visual Language
The foundation of our visual language inspired by the brand has the same visual cues of motion.
We built on this foundation and stretched the design to work across different business sectors, driven down using colour and the texture differently for each sector. The design direction accomplished a sense of a modern African aesthetic plus Integration and partnership to compliment the communication theme.
Design System
A further result was a robust design system that enabled various designers to touch the work and maintain high levels of efficiency and consistency across various channels from print to digital content.
